Republican convention speech: "I alone can fix it."

Donald Trump has a way of thinking that can drive other sovereign nations to pay for things that he, Trump, wants. This HAS to be a sign of insanity.
For instance: Think about the wall that he wants on the southern border of the United States. It has been nearly three years now that he has been promising that the sovereign nation of MEXICO will pay for the construction of this imposing barrier, situated on USA land, a completely distinct sovereign nation NORTH OF MEXICO'S northern border.
The demagoguery of this idiotic promise is impressive. Shouting, pointing, insulting and mob chanting "MEXICO, MEXICO!" in response to the oratorical, challenging question, "Whose gonna pay for the wall?"
Now, of course, he wants to have the USA tax payer to provide the funds to pay for the wall because the sovereign nation to the south does not fall under Donald Trump's aegis and refuses to provide the money that Donald wants. Not only that, since Mexico says "no" and the USA taxpayer says "no" (of course), the insane president of the USA who can't get the sovereign nation to the south to fund the project is now punishing his own people by shutting down the USA government because he can't deliver on HIS promise to have the sovereign country to the south make good on HIS ill-conceived promise.
This has to be a sure symptom of deeply virulent insanity.
