Ban travel, limit refugee entry all the more, blame drug importation on illegal entry and ignore what comes through the front door, build a higher and better wall, deport, deport, deport, weaken already shoddy health care system, make a long list of promises that are impossible to keep, etc.

There are a great many radicalized American citizens in the USA who are working at radicalizing others while we alienate them all with inflammatory rhetoric. That is no way to win this "war."

Political savvy is about leading, not commanding and insulting; it is about well organized and controlled guidance and collaboration, not "I win, you lose" deal making. It is much more efficacious to learn and practice judicious use of political correctness than to accuse, threaten and castigate at every turn. Yes, governing is a skill that some have and others don't.

At this time we are suffering through a great drought of skilled governance. At this rate, American exceptionalism will be celebrated by the isolation of those who lost the art of collaborative co-governance in the world community of nations.
